H&M Concious Collection

Last week H&M debuted it’s annual Conscious Collection to their stores. The line consists of clothing made from recycled materials and organic cotton.

H&M is one of the world’s leading fashion houses based in Sweden. The company is internationally recognized for their fast-fashion at affordable prices and in ranks with other fast-fashion companies such as Zara, Gap and Uniqlo. The line is no exception to the standards of affordability H&M delievers. With most organically produced clothing they tend to be priced higher because they aren’t highly in demand, yet. H&M’s Conscious Collection stays true to their affordable price points with pieces ranging from $9.95 to $299. The line caters to both Women and Men. There’s an added line called ‘Exclusive Conscious’ that houses the higher priced items of the collection.

Along with producing affordable pieces, what is not known to many of it’s customers is H&M’s sustainable initiative to use sustainable cotton for their garments by 2020. H&M is consistently striving to make goals to use more sustainable resources and inform their workers of the company’s ongoing “Conscious Actions.”

Here are some pieces from the 2012 Conscious Collection:
